The actress's does a good job of singing the emotional romantic solo track from Rock 2.
Shraddha Kapoor renders emotional Rock On 2 track 'Tere Mere Dil'

The second song to be released from the Rock On 2 soundtrack is Shraddha Kapoor's solo track 'Tere Mere Dil'. Kapoor, who has previously sung 'Galiyan' in Aashiqui 2, 'Do Jahaan' in Haider and 'Bezubaan Phir Se' unplugged in ABCD 2, steps behind the mic once again. Yes, there are limitations to her as a singer, but her voice quality in this one is good, and her ease makes this song a smooth track to listen to.
The composition by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is mellow and floaty. The soul, though, seems missing and so we don't really feel Kapoor's voice like we did in her previous emotional songs. The lack of depth is the reason why it doesn't touch you the way a track like this should. The video centres around Kapoor's performance, and depicts the journey of her relationship with Farhan Akhtar.
The song is not at par with the first edition of the film, where almost every track by SEL had tons to offer.
