Will Kajol make an appearance in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil?

Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to present his multi-starrer romantic drama, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The film is keenly awaited for many reasons. It has an unusual yet strong cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan. But more importantly, this is just the sixth time that Johar has donned the hat of director despite being in the industry for 18 long years. 

Johar’s name is always associated with Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from being close friends, they have also collaborated in quite a few films. However, it is Kajol who has appeared in all of Johar's directorial ventures so far –— Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (2006), My Name Is Khan (2010) and Student Of The Year (2012). 

Despite not being a part of KANK and SOTY, Kajol did made song appearances in both the films. Shah Rukh, on the other hand, wasn’t a part of SOTY. So, Kajol leads him by 5:4. 

This, obviously, makes us wonder whether Kajol will also be a part of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil? Going by Johar's filmography, the chances look high. Plus, he himself has confessed quite a few times that he considers her as his lucky mascot.

But this time it looks difficult as ADHM is clashing with her husband, Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay. As we know, Johar and Devgn aren't on friendly terms because of the box-office war. The issue of Kamaal R Khan's audio sting operation where he mentioned taking money from Johar to create a negative buzz for Shivaay made things worse. So right now, we can only wait and watch.
