Ranbir Kapoor: ADHM's ‘Channa Mereya’ is the best song of my career

So far, the makers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have released two songs from the film – the title track and ‘Bulleya’ - and both have caught the audience’s fancy. But Ranbir Kapoor, the lead actor from the film, just can’t wait for the song ‘Channa Mereya’ to release. 

The Tamasha actor not only feels that the song is the best from the album but also the best song of his career so far. He has said this in a video released by Fox Star Studios, one of the producers of ADHM. “There is another song ‘Channa Mereya,’ which is not out yet. It is by far the best song in the album and by far the best song in my entire career. So I am really excited for you guys to listen to that.” 

He also thanked the people behind the music of the ADHM. “I would like to take this opportunity to give a big shoutout to Pritam dada, mad genius, Amitabh Bhattacharya and the tremendously talented Arijit Singh.”

Karan Johar, the director of the film, simultaneously released the first look of ‘Channa Mereya’ on his Twitter page with the caption, “This song truly engulfs the soul of @AeDilHaiMushkil ..it's my favourite song in the album....out soon!!#Ranbir @AnushkaSharma #aishwariya.” 

While Bulleya, which is a good composition, came under the scanner for its riff being copied from Papa Roach's Last Resort, we are hoping that Pritam gives us more original stuff to cheer about with Channa Mereya.
