A Lonavala constable’s heroic act to save a girl from being crushed under the wheels of a train has won him praise from one and all, including Akshay Kumar.
A video of the life-saving act by Pawan Tayde went viral and it didn’t take long for the star to laud the heroism of Tayde via Twitter. Just like everyone else, Akshay Kumar too had his heart in his mouth while watching the video.

As seen in the CCTV clip, fortunately the girl didn’t get crushed under the wheels. Nevertheless, it was swift action by Tayde that saved the life of the commuter.
It’s not just his films, but Kumar has been recently raising his voice over social and national issues. A few months ago, the actor was lauded for speaking about the plight of struggling Indian refugees in South Sudan on social media. The actor had tweeted their concerns to the Union external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, who had taken prompt action.
