Hrithik will comment on Kangana spat after Kaabil, says Rakesh Roshan

In a recent interview, the director warned that Hrithik is only silent about allegations because he is busy working on his new film.

Hrithik Roshan's silence should not be misconstrued as his fear was the warning father Rakesh Roshan sent out to instigators. Speaking in an interview to a national daily, the director pointed out that the Krrish actor is currently busy, and might choose to speak out on his infamous spat with Kangana Ranaut after he completes his shooting. "He is busy with his upcoming movie. Once he gets free, he might speak about it. It is his choice."

Hrithik has been shooting for Sanjay Gupta's drama thriller, Kaabil, alongside Yami Gautam. The actor has been through a rough last year with an ugly media spat with Ranaut, over alleged sensitive emails between them. Both the actors traded legal notices, with Hrithik even accusing Ranaut of 'mental harassment and stress.'

Regardless of the ugly nature of the spat, and the following flop of Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro, the actor has returned to his work with gusto. However, controversy seems to be in no mood to let the actor go. Recently, the media was agog with news that the Roshans were in a direct clash with Shah Rukh Khan over the release dates for Kaabil, and Khan's Raees.

This clash has been averted for now, with Rakesh making a personal appointment with Khan over the film. The director said, "I have told him that nobody is going to gain [anything] out of this clash. I have also explained to him that I can’t shift my film’s release date, as I am a little superstitious. I would have changed the date had I not announced the film. I don’t have an ego."

Kaabil is expected to release on 26 January 2017.
