A week since their release, the box-office verdict is loud and clear — Pink has grown gradually, while Raaz Reboot has performed badly.

According to a BoxOfficeIndia.com report, the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Pink has garnered around Rs35.75 crore net in its first week collections. On the other hand, Vikram Bhatt’s horror thriller Raaz Reboot has fared poorly, managing just Rs22.75 cr in the same period. Both films had released on the same day.

Pink had opened to mere Rs4.32 crore net, but the strong word-of-mouth publicity helped the film gross over Rs7 and Rs9 crore on the following days, taking its opening weekend total to about Rs21 crore. Expectedly, the average weekday figures amounted to Rs3.60 crore on an average.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the following.

Meanwhile, Adarsh pegged the week one figure for Raaz Reboot for week one to Rs26.73 cr

Trade sources had told us last week that Pink’s budget was around Rs35-40 crore, and it had released across 1,200 screens. According to production sources, Raaz Reboot’s budget was pegged at Rs30 crore, with the film getting around 2,350 screens.

While Pink certainly isn't a runaway success, Raaz Reboot has turned out to be the worst performer of the Raaz franchise.
