Nitya Mehra's time travel romance starring Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif seems to be running out of fuel at the box office.

Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra might have the Monday blues today. Their film, Baar Baar Dekho has failed to improve its first day collections, earning Rs6.75 crore on Sunday. This takes the total collections to Rs20.5 crore over the weekend.
The film saw a marked drop from its collections of Rs7 crore on Saturday. The collections of the film over three days are as follows:
Friday - Rs6.75 crore
Saturday - Rs7 crore
Sunday - Rs6.75 crore
On the positive side, the collection of the film outdoes the Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer, Freaky Ali, ensuring that it remains top at the box-office for this weekend at least. The consistency of the film is another positive sign, as it can expect to regroup over the Monday holiday for Bakri Eid. However, the film's makers would do well not to hope too much since Akira, which also saw a Monday holiday, failed to regroup from its weekend debacle.
The fall in Sunday collections is seen by trade sources as a bad sign, considering the huge production budget of Baar Baar Dekho. The film was made on a budget of Rs50 crore approximately. It looks unlikely that the film will recover its earnings over the next week.
