Riteish Deshmukh is in high spirits this festive season. The actor is prepping up for the release of his next, Banjo, on 23 September. Deshmukh plays a banjo musician from the streets of Mumbai who finds a bigger stage.
Since the film is set in Mumbai, it was natural that the Ganpati celebrations were a big part of its promotional activity. In a recent video put out by the producers, the lead duo, Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri, are seen practicing the inimitable Ganpati dance seen on the streets of Mumbai.
Though Deshmukh looks at home with his wacky steps, Fakhri struggles to keep up with him. If nothing, the video is a lesson in how crazy the dancing crowds can get in the city.
The film's music has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar, and has received rave reviews so far.
Banjo is directed by Ravi Jadhav, and will release on 23 September.
