There's beauty in graceful ageing. Diva from the 1990s and Jumma of Amitabh Bachchan's famed 'Chumma Chumma De De' song, Kimi Katkar made a rare public appearance turning up for a friend’s art show. The wear and tear of time is written large on her face, but Katkar didn’t care what onlookers thought.

Katkar, who now lives in Goa following her marriage to shutterbug Shantanu Sheorey, turned up for her friend Anu Malhotra’s art show in Mumbai. She was more than happy to pose for the camera. Gauhar Khan, who is an admirer of the actress, looked pleased as punch posing with Katkar.  Khan had earlier mentioned on social media how as a  child she liked loved Katkar and her costumes. Shilpa Shetty Kundra was also present at the event.

Katkar was a popular figure in the '90s, who worked with superstars. Apart from Hum (1991), Katkar also became famous as the desi Jane in the Indian version of Tarzan.
