Shah Rukh Khan recently returned to India after completing the schedule of Imtiaz Ali’s The Ring. Not wasting much time, he happily attended the first episode of filmmaker Karan Johar’s TV show Koffee With Karan. He was accompanied by his Dear Zindagi co-star, Alia Bhatt.
Khan and Karan’s friendship goes a long way. In fact, it won’t be an overstatement that they are the biggest besties in Bollywood. This was also evident from Khan's tweet right after the show. He shared a picture of him, Johar and Bhatt with the caption, “Some work days r not work. They r love and happiness. Thx Koffee team for having me over. Have a great season again!”
Interestingly, he tweeted it as early as 5:24 am. It looks like he was keen on starting his day on a happy note.
The Raees actor has been in the guest seat in every season of Koffee With Karan, except the fourth one, which was in 2014.
Khan and Bhatt have been receiving rave reviews for the two short trailers of Dear Zindagi that have released so far. The interesting comfort level of both actors, despite the big age difference, has also been noticed. Directed by Gauri Shinde, the film will release on 25 November.
There were reports about Fawad Khan being the first guest on Johar's show but the decision was averted after the controversy surrounding the Uri attacks emerged.
