After the 'Breakup Song', makers have Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have released the frolicking 'Cutiepie'
Using a word common with lovers, mostly the youth, director Karan Johar and music director Pritam have come up with a fun number.
Lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya has once again produced a mishmash of Punjabi, Hindi and few English words to create 'Cutiepie', sung by Pardeep Singh Sran and Nakash Aziz, with Meenal Jain and Antara providing additional vocals.
The music by Pritam oscillates between Punjabi pop and contemporary western pop. Irrespective of the lyrics, the music is quite infectious.
The main highlight of the song is Ranbir Kapoor crooning like a crybaby. From sheer ecstasy to agony, his character Ayan experiences a gamut of emotions in the track. The comical, yet electrifying choreography is bound to trigger an adrenalin rush. Don't miss Kapoor's red shorts with red hearts.
The cutiepie here is Alizeh (Anushka Sharma) who adds her own madness to the track. And she does slap Ayan again.
'Cutiepie' has the makings of a chartbuster.
