Vidya Balan is a wanted criminal in Kahaani 2 

Vidya Balan's look in Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani 2 can be best described as minimal, yet intriguing.

Director Sujoy Ghosh had disclosed earlier that Kahaani 2 would not be a sequel to Kahaani, but an altogether new story. Balan is playing a new character called Durga Rani Singh who is wanted for kidnapping and murder.

The first poster of the film shows Balan’s character as a wanted criminal with minimal makeup, dishevelled hair and no glamour.

Kahaan 2 is slated to release on 2 December 2016. The new film also stars Arjun Rampal.
