It will take something big to break down the spirits of Kangana Ranaut. The actress was involved in a car accident on 12 October in Georgia, USA. Ranaut is currently shooting in the USA for Hansal Mehta's Simran, where she plays a divorced Gujarati woman caught up with the American underworld. Reports suggest that the actress was returning from her shoot when the accident occurred.

Evidently, the actress was in a car when her driver blacked out at the wheel. The actress' bodyguard immediately tried to take control of the vehicle, but could not manage the steering, and cut through the lanes amid high speeding traffic, before finally banging into an iron fence. The actress was reportedly unharmed, apart from a few minor cuts and bruises.

If the makers thought this incident might deter the actress from focusing on her work, they were in for a surprise. Ranaut decided to take no time off, and returned to shooting immediately the next day. Producer Shailesh R Singh said, "It was a narrow escape. It’s a miracle that they had no injuries. Kangana is a brave girl. She refused to take a break and has resumed the shoot."

Well, we always knew the woman was strong.
