Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna set for Koffee With Karan appearance

They have been married for 15 years, but, remarkably, never before have Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna appeared on television for an interview together. The couple will make an appearance on the upcoming season of the popular chat show Koffee With Karan.

All these years, Kumar and Khanna have kept their lives private. Kumar reluctantly made an appearance on Koffee With Karan last year. On the other hand, Khanna has never given a television interview after her marriage. In fact, she quit acting after marriage.

Rumour has it that the couple is likely to name their favourite and not-so-favourite people in the industry on the show.

Akshay Kumar is usually diplomatic and steers clears of controversies, but we wonder if Johar will prise some secrets out. The Kumar-Khanna marriage has not been without its controversies. There were once rumours about Kumar spending a month at a hotel in Juhu following a rift over his alleged philandering.

Khanna has made a name for herself writing columns and the book Mrs Funnybones. She has taken cheeky digs at author Chetan Bhagat, enraged Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's followers, and most recently took a swipe at Naseeruddin Shah for insulting her father, the late Rajesh Khanna.
