The latest Hindi film actor to get hitched is actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who got engaged to Mumbai-based Rukmini Sahay, on Tuesday at a suburban hotel in the city. The day also marked the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.
Although the wedding date isn’t decided yet, it is likely to be early next year. It will be an arranged marriage for the actor. Apparently, his family has been close friends with Sahay's family. The girl works in the aviation industry.
Unlike people of today’s era, the 34-year-old actor gave the responsibility of finding a girl to his parents. “Neil is quite old-school in his ways and is a firm believer in the traditional school of thought when it comes to the sacred institution of marriage. He left the decision of finding his soulmate in his parents’ trusted hands and there couldn’t have been a better match for him than Rukmini,” said his father Nitin Mukesh.
Neil’s father is already super-impressed with his future daughter-in-law. He said, “She reflects the values and traditions that Neil has been raised with and compliments him in every way possible. The celebrations to the final countdown have already begun.”
