Inspired by late poet Jan Nisar Akhtar, Dhawan posted a poetic video.

What do you think Varun Dhawan does when he's bored?
Surprisingly, he turns to poetry to kill time.
Dhawan posted this video to kill his boredom.
The clock is ticking. #dosomethingincredible. I was bored so I did this pic.twitter.com/cA2mzIE9IS

Tweaked a little, the words were reminiscent of a famous line by late poet Jan Nisar Akhtar. Legend has it that the poet-lyricist was once asked about life in Mumbai and he remarked saying: “Subah hui shyam, shyam hui, zindagi yunhi tamaam hui" (It's day, it's night, life just goes on).
Fans have seldom seen this side to Dhawan, and it didn’t take long for them to like the video. The post has so far got over 2.6K likes and has been retweeted over 550 times.
