His views can stir a hornet's nest, but going by Rishi Kapoor's standards this one seems like a beamer.

The actor was reminded of his 1989 film Chandni after watching the trailer of Yash Raj Productions' Befikre.

He tweeted his impression of the trailer:

Calling Befikre an updated version of Chandni, Kapoor certainly got his followers and the media scratching their heads. Befikre stars Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in a romance set in Paris.

Chandni was a love triangle that starred Rishi, Vinod Khanna and Sridevi. Some portions of the romantic film were shot in Switzerland, but save for the exotic locales, the similarities seem to be nil. Unless, of course, Rishi knows a certain secret that we don't.

Fans can watch both the trailers and decide for themselves.
