When Anushka Sharma slapped Ranbir Kapoor: Watch

The countdown to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has begun, with three weeks left for its releases. The makers have released a new behind the scenes video that underlines the chemistry between Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) and Alizeh (Anushka Sharma). 

The striking features of this video is how Sharma required multiple retakes for a scene where she had to slap Ranbir Kapoor.

She whacked him not once or twice, but thrice. After the third strike Kapoor wasn't amused. "There is a limit to it," he said, looking visibly upset. Sharma was quick to apologise. 

“She is a very organic actor. She is someone who is in the moment, one who wants to give a true performance. So she whacked me again,” Kapoor says in the video. And the Barfi! Actor reminded Sharma that she hit real hard. 

Sharma and Kapoor share a great friendship, one that was forged during the filming of their film Bombay Velvet (2015). It was this friendship which made Johar cast them together in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Let’s not forget how Johar was privy to this chemistry. After all he played the villain in Bombay Velvet.
