Karan Johar returned to the television screens with season 5 of his infamous, or famous, show Koffee With Karan. This time he had Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan making the grand opening to the season. As expected the episode was filled with some witty, scandalous remarks. One particularly curious one related to Ranveer Singh's undergarments.
On being asked what he would do if he woke up as Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan replied, "I wonder where he got the padded underwear from."
The recent furore over Ranveer Singh stripping down to his undies certainly caught King Khan's eyes, it seems. Singh and co-star Vaani Kapoor have set tongues wagging with their naughty acts in the trailer and songs for Aditya Chopra's Befikre. Apparently, Khan's tongue is one of the waggers.
When Johar tried to confirm if Khan thinks Singh had worn 'padded undies' in the film, Khan replied, "If he has not, I am a fan." If Ranveer Singh did not feel the burn with the previous one, he certainly should be feeling this one.
Knowing Shah Rukh Khan, he was only being his witty, naughty self. To be fair, Khan did not spare his best friend, host Karan Johar, either. He said the greatest embarassment of his life is when Karan Johar walks into the changing rooms with him. The actor also confessed that Johar helps him pick out his clothes, since he is too shy to ask for things at stores himself.
Little surprise then that the actor walked away with the gift hamper for the fourth time in five seasons. Hopefully, Ranveer Singh might have a rebuttal when he turns up on the show later this season.
