Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone just went one up on the A-list pairings in Hindi cinema. At the Esquire Awards 2016, the pair made a clean sweep winning the International Man and Woman of the Year. At the ceremony in Dubai, the two made a loving pair, Ranveer Singh even giving Padukone a peck on the cheek as he walked up on stage to accept his award.

Speaking to the media later, Singh said that he was still a 'work in progress as a man'. The actor said, "I assure you that I am merely a work in progress as a man. I promise you that the best of this man is yet to come. But for the moment if you truly want to see a man at his best, meet me five shots down at the dance floor at the after-party. Ladies and gentlemen it is officially party time. I will see you on the dance floor."

While Singh was his usual exuberant self, Padukone seemed to have tapped into her Serena Unger. Dressed stylishly, the actress exuded confidence in a look that clearly meant business.

The A-list couple though coy in speaking about their relationship status has been open with their public display of affection, with Ranbir Kapoor even commenting on the couple in the recent episode of Koffee with Karan. Kapoor said, "They have an amazing creative partnership on screen. I think beyond that the way they are with each other, they compliment each other. They are perfect for each others’ energies and I am really happy for them… I hope they can see this through and make awesome babies together."
For now though, the International Man and Woman of the Year look set to reprise their chemistry in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next Padmavati.
