Actor Arjun Rampal, whose film Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh will release this week, unveiled the first look of his upcoming biopic of Arun Gawli. In the motion poster, an actual mug shot of Arun Gawli is shown and it turns into Arjun standing in for the gangster-turned-politician.

Just yesterday, Rampal shared a video of Gawli talking about his fight with the mafia not with ordinary people. Gawli said in the video the people had faith in him to do the right thing. The short video ended with Gawli stating one’s image can be changed according to the work.

Gawli founded Maharashtra’s Akhil Bharatiya Sena and is currently serving a life sentence for murder. Daddy is directed by Ashim Ahluwalia and also has South films actress Aishwarya Rajesh.
