Yuvraj Singh will finally be tying the knot next month with his fiancee, actress Hazel Keech. The couple had got engaged in Bali a year ago.
The date for the wedding hasn't been fixed yet. But a source said the wedding will take place before 12 December, which happens to be Singh's birthday.
The cricketer won many hearts during the 2011 cricket World Cup with a stirring role in India’s triumph. He was adjudged man of the series for his contribution with both bat and ball. But tragedy struck soon after as he was diagnosed with cancer. Then started his long battle with the disease and his subsequent fightback and return to Team India for a short duration.
Following this, the cricketer and the actress surprised everyone by exchanging rings a year ago.
As part of the wedding preparations, the couple has come up with funny cards with sketches of both for the sangeet and the wedding. They have also organized fancy sweet boxes.
Yesterday, the cricketer and his mother paid a visit to prime minister Narendra Modi to invite him for the wedding. They presented Modi with the invitation card and chocolates.
