After wrapping up Bareilly Ki Barfi in Lucknow, actor Rajkummar Rao headed to Chandigarh to start filming on the Indo-American production, 5 Weddings. Joining him was co-star Nargis Fakhri who plays an American journalist, Shania, doing a feature on Indian weddings in the country.

Rao plays a local cop, Harbhajan Singh, tasked with escorting Fakhri’s character while on assignment. Singh suspects the journalist is up to no good and thinks Shania is actually a spy! The two were recently spotted, in full wedding attire, along with director Namrata Singh Gujral, while on set. 5 Weddings is Gujral's first feature film.

Nargis tweeted that the first look was just “one of our many looks” in the film.

The two seem to be having a lot of fun on the shoot, even while stuck in traffic, as is evident from Rao's tweet just yesterday.

5 Weddings began filming in Chandigarh on 15 November and will continue shooting in the city for another three weeks. The international production also stars actresses Bo Derek, Candy Clark and Anneliese van der Pol. There is no release date set as yet for the film.
