10 interesting moments between Varun Dhawan-Arjun Kapoor in Koffee With Karan

As expected, actors Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor not only brought a lot of energy, but also doses of hilarity when they appeared together on the television show, Koffee With Karan. There were lots of memorable moments between both. 

Here are the best of 10:

1) Johar seemed to be on a mission to know Dhawan's relationship status. The actor initially refused to either accept or deny that he is in a relationship. After much prodding and beating around the bush — at one point Dhawan claimed he has a lot of love in this life since his mother loves him a lot — Dhawan finally admitted, albeit in a rather indirect manner, that he is with someone and is happy and has been for quite a while now!

2) The impromptu acting challenge was one of the highlights of the episode. From playing two homosexual strangers hitting on each other in a bar to getting into the skin of two estranged brothers, Dhawan and Kapoor nailed it. When the two were asked to speak in a language other than Hindi, Kapoor spoke in Punjabi, while Dhawan chose Marathi and reminisced his character from Badlapur.

3) Johar confronted Dhawan and Kapoor on whether any of them were ever in a relationship with Alia Bhatt. Both of them denied. 

4) Johar tried finding out from both of them who Bhatt was dating these days. Both refused to answer and maintained that such things shouldn’t be made public.

5) Dhawan once scripted, directed and edited an entire short film titled White Mountain that starred Kapoor as drug dealer Savio, while Dhawan played the vengeful character that returns from the dead to seek revenge from the former! Apparently, Dhawan is so proud of his work that he even showed it to Johar while auditioning for Student of the Year and got the part!

6) Dhawan denied having any tiff with his Student Of The Year co-star Sidharth Malhotra.

7) What shocked everyone was the moment when Johar asked who is the bigger star and who has the bigger *****? Not one to leave the opportunity to tease each other, Dhawan and Kapoor went all out, leaving Johar speechless. While Dhawan said he is the bigger star, Kapoor claimed to lead in the other department.
 
8) Dhawan revealed that as a child of four or five, he used to run around the house in his underwear, unembarrassed and unabashedly free even if there were guests over. If Dhawan harbours nudist tendencies, Kapoor roams around the house shirtless in shorts. When a rather confused Johar tried to make sense of these weird tendencies, Kapoor cleared the confusion saying that he has a rule he believes in —  ‘If I have a bath, then I have to get out of the house.’

9) Gossip mills have been abuzz with Dhawan's alleged relationship with a girl called Natasha Dalal. When Johar asked him about his status with her, Dhawan refused to answer and added, “Sorry I am treating you like a journalist, but you are behaving like one.”

10) Over the discussion, Dhawan accepted that he is a bigger star than Kapoor and the latter knows about it. To this, Kapoor added, “I know he thinks like that.”
