Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi opened its promotional campaign with refreshing teasers starring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. The film released its first song today and it makes us want to continue this holiday feeling by escaping to Goa, just like Bhatt's character Kaira seems to be doing.
Composed by Amit Trivedi, who also composed the musical score for Shinde’s English Vinglish (2012), ‘Love You Zindagi’, written by Kausar Munir, is infectious and makes you want to smile. The song is sung by Jasleen Royal who sang 'Raatein’ in last week's release Shivaay.
The song shows a happy Alia Bhatt enjoying life by the beach, in the bylanes of Goa, and with her sessions with Jahangir ‘Jugs’ Khan, played by Shah Rukh Khan. Bhatt is seen taking pleasure in the smaller moments of life – from dancing in the rain to setting sail a paper boat. The sunny video opens and ends with Bhatt sitting serenely on a beach as the sun sets.
