Desi girl Priyanka Chopra has been nominated for People's Choice Awards 2017 in the Favourite Dramatic TV actress category. This would be the second consecutive nomination for the actress after winning the Favourite Actress in a new TV series category last year.
The actress is nominated alongside names like Ellen Pompeo, Kerry Washington, Academy award nominees Viola Davis and Taraji P Henson. Chopra's television debut on Quantico has been quite a breakthrough, with the series now well into its second season. The nomination is also a sign of the actress' growing presence in Hollywood.

Her show Quantico is also nominated in the favorite network TV drama category.
On a related note, the actress is also gearing up for the release of her next big film, Baywatch, alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
