Being underrated has its advantages. While your successes may not be rewarded, your failures go unnoticed. In short, there is nothing much to lose.
Both Ranvir Shorey and Neha Dhupia have been around for a while, experienced the grind, have had a few hits and misses, but none that has broken their spirit.
The duo will be seen together again in first-time director Munish Bhardwaj’s crime thriller Moh Maya Money.
Cinestaan.com spoke to Neha Dhupia first and to Shorey and Bhardwaj later. Most striking about Dhupia was her candid admission that she took in her stride the quick slide from playing the lead to supporting roles. The lady, who is making waves for her podcast #NoFilterNeha, keeps having unfiltered conversations with Shorey, but the latter doesn’t think he is worthy enough to actually feature on her show.
Meanwhile, director Bhardwaj isn’t swayed by the prospect of competing with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dear Zindagi.
