Here's why Priyanka Chopra won't wear a bikini in Baywatch

When it was announced that Priyanka Chopra would be part of Baywatch film with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, there was a sense of anticipation if she'd don a bikini. Remember Chopra's look in Dostana (2008)?

The image of a buxom Pamela Anderson, cavorting on the beach in a red swimsuit had become the hallmark of the original Baywatch (1999-2001) series. 

Indian fans would have liked to see Chopra emulate Anderson, but that is simply not happening. Not that Chopra is averse to it, but purely because her role doesn’t require her to don a bikini.

“I'm not a lifeguard, I’m the interruption in their slow motion," said Chopra. She plays Victoria, the main villain in the film. Baywatch will release worldwide next year.
