SS Rajamouli's epic Baahubali is now a graphic novel

Even as he prepares for the massive release of the 'conclusion' of his epic movie, Rajamouli's film has been transformed into a graphic novel titled 'Battle of the Bold'.

For fans dying to know the answer to the question 'Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?', there is a new medium to get the answers from. SS Rajamouli's blockbuster epic has now been transformed into a graphic novel, titled Baahubali: Battle of the Bold.

The director released the first look of the novel on Twitter today. The first film, Baahubali: The Beginning proved to be one of the biggest blockbusters in South India. It was also the first non-Hindi film to manage earning Rs100 crore in the Indian market.

The graphic novel seems to be built around the main characters of Baahubali, Bhallala Deva and Katappa, with other main characters also seen in the slides.

The novel has been created in association with Graphic India, and is likely to act as a promotional tool to build the buzz around the much-awaited prequel to the film.

Meanwhile, Rajamouli is set to release in April next year.
