Saif's daughter Sara not doing Zoya Akhtar’s film; Amrita Singh squashes rumours

Ever since Saif Ali Khan disclosed that his daughter Sara Ali Khan is keen on doing films, there has been speculation over the young girl's first step in Bollywood. Recently, it was rumoured that Sara would be making her debut in Zoya Akhtar’s next Gully Boys where she was to be paired with Ranveer Singh. However, actress Amrita Singh has rubbished these reports about her daughter.

“This is just not true,” Singh was quoted as saying in FirstPost.com.

Earlier, there were murmurs that Sara could feature in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2. However, save for Tiger Shroff being part of the sequel, there is no confirmation over the other actors. While promoting A Flying Jatt, Shroff had merely admitted to being part of the second part, and had claimed that there will be two new actresses.
