Priyanka Chopra adopts a rescued pooch in New York

The actress, who had visited a popular media office, instantly adopted a rescued puppy.

The bold and tough Priyanka Chopra showed her soft and compassionate side when showcased her love for animals.

The Quantico star was invited by a popular international media house in New York, where she was in for a pleasant surprise. Members of Animal League, a shelter home for abandoned, stray animals, turned up at the office with a host of rescued animals.

 

One particular rescued pup caught the attention of Chopra, who decided to take it home with her.  


Chopra posted the above on her Instagram page. The actress clearly seems to be loving the new member to her family in Manhattan.

Chopra's interviewer was overwhelmed by the act.

 

It's no secret that Chopra loves animals. The Bajirao Mastani actress is already mother to Cocker Spaniel Brando back home in India and has also adopted a tigress, Durga and a lioness, Sundari in the past.
