Bad jokes are going around in the Hindi film industry. After Shah Rukh Khan's repeated warnings to Alia Bhatt in Dear Zindagi, it seems Ranveer Singh has picked up the baton. The latest video from the Befikre team has Singh going overboard with some hilariously bad jokes.
From the opening, Singh sets the tone with his over-the-top Hindi-villain-style welcome. What follows is some unadulterated fun, with Singh joking about everything from farts to 'anacondas' in his pants. The video even has a very bad, albeit a little funny, pun on Adidas wedding boots.
If not for Ranveer Singh's insanity, this might have ended up as one cringe-worthy video. At one point, it features a crew member launching his waste across a record distance. We only hope that wasn't real. In their defence, the makers make it clear in the tweet, 'It was funny in the moment.'
Befikre has already received good reviews for its daring trailer and songs. Directed by Aditya Chopra, the film stars Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor. The film is set to be released on 9 December 2016.
