The Dear Zindagi actress now has ten million followers on Instagram.

In the age of social media, an artiste's popularity can also be gauged from her social media following. By that reckoning, Alia Bhatt is the queen amongst GenNext stars. The 23-year-old has over nine million followers on Twitter. And the Udta Punjab actress was overjoyed with her following on photo-sharing application Instagram touching a whopping 10 million.
Bhatt, who made her debut with Student Of The Year (2012), has amassed a huge following in these four years.

The actress had nothing to say but she put up this video to express her joy at reaching the magic number. Bhatt thanked her fans for making her ‘DearZindagi’ even better.
Bhatt lags behind Deepika Padukone (12.5 million) and Priyanka Chopra (11.8 million) in terms of followers on Instagram. However, both Padukone and Chopra have been in the industry for many years.
Bhatt will next be seen in Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi, which is set for release on 25 November.
