Banjo teaser: Riteish Deshmukh is impressive as 'Banjo ki duniya ka Bachchan'

The much awaited teaser for Riteish Deshmukh's Banjo is now out. The teaser stars Riteish in a grunge rockstar look and has a special Bachchan touch to it. Abhishek Bachchan lends his voice to the teaser as he introduces Riteish's character as 'Banjo ki duniya ka Bachchan'.

Directed by award winning Marathi filmmaker, Ravi Jadhav, the film will see Riteish play the role of a banjo player from the street. The teaser marks Riteish's 'different' entry from a gutter. It packs a lot of punch with the actor headbanging to a rocking score and also has a Ganpati dance sequence for fans. Nargis Fakhri also makes an appearance in the teaser in several avatars - from a 'navvaari' sari to some fancy tribal wear.

The film is set to release on 23 September and is based on the traditional banjo musicians of Maharashtra. If the promise of the teaser is anything to go by, it might turn out to be one of the more interesting films in Riteish's CV.
