Meet the newest couple in town: Ayushmann Khurrana, Parineeti Chopra in Meri Pyaari Bindu

Yash Raj Films' upcoming Meri Pyaari Bindu recently revealed the first look of their hero, Abhimanyu Roy, played by Ayushmann Khurrana. Earlier in the year, the studio announced the project with actor Parineeti Chopra as Bindu, paired for the first time with Ayushmann. The film is directed by newcomer Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma.

Parineeti returns to films after a two-year-long break - her last release was Kill Dil (2014). She will be debuting as a singer in Meri Pyaari Bindu. Her co-star Ayushmann is already a veteran at this; he has previously sung songs on Vicky Donor (2012), Nautanki Saala (2013), Bewakoofiyaan (2014) and Hawaizaada (2015).

Filming is currently underway in Kolkata with both stars posting about their experiences in the City of Joy.

 Meri Pyaari Bindu, with music composed by Sachin-Jigar, will release sometime in 2017.
