Anil Kapoor reveals his animated avatar in American sitcom Family Guy

After playing a pivotal role in the American hit series '24', Anil Kapoor is set to continue his tryst with American television, albeit in an animated avatar. The actor is set to appear as a guest star on the popular American animated sitcom 'Family Guy'. Kapoor confirmed the development via Twitter.

Dressed in trademark suit, Anil Kapoor’s caricature on the show sports a moustache and an earring as well. The official Twitter page of 'Family Guy' too posted the development, saying Kapoor guest stars as himself in this Sunday’s season finale.

'Family Guy' is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centres on the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter and Lois; their children Meg, Chris, and Stewie; and their anthropomorphic pet dog Brian. The show is set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island, and exhibits much of its humour in the form of cutaway gags that often lampoon American culture.
