Sonam Kapoor, who is currently hogging the limelight at the Cannes red carpet, seems to be going through a pleasant phase in her career. Earlier this year, her film, Neerja, turned out to be not only the best of her career so far but also her best performance till date.
Now she has another reason to rejoice as sister Rhea Kapoor is set to get married to long-time boyfriend, Karan Boolani. According to a report in the tabloid Mumbai Mirror, Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani will be tying the knot in December this year.
The report mentions that Karan's parents recently met Rhea’s parents, Anil and Sunita Kapoor. The meeting turned out to be fruitful as both parties happily consented to the wedding.
Rhea had reportedly expressed her desire to get married to Karan but the latter had sought some time to make up his mind. It now appears that the wait will end this year.
For the uninitiated, Rhea Kapoor is a dress designer and is responsible for her sister's interesting looks at various events. She was also the producer of the Sonam starrer Aisha (2010) and Khoobsurat (2014).
Rhea is not the only sibling for whom Sonam is excited. Later this year, her brother Harshvardhan Kapoor will make his debut in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya.
