Zarine Khan is large from everywhere: Ram Gopal Varma

Fillmmaker goes overboard in praise of Zarine Khan; ridicules original Khallas song

That Ram Gopal Varma has a tendency to put his foot in his mouth and rile contemporaries and rivals is no secret. But this time the filmmaker may have irked someone who has only just worked with him.

Last Saturday, Ram Gopal Varma, also known as RGV, launched an item song Khallas Veerappan, a cover version of the Khallas song from his own film Company (2002), and roped in Zarine Khan, who has had an image makeover since Hate Story 3, to perform to the number.

While the new wild Khallas track from Veerappan has evoked mixed views, the filmmaker is going gaga over the track and Zarine Khan. He took to Twitter to wax lyrical on Miss Khan. Unfortunately, what he said did not come out very well.

It is not known how Zarine Khan reacted to the tweet. Early on in her career, the actress did not quite sport the lean figure that she does now, and was often mocked for her slightly rotund look.

More shocking was Ram Gopal Varma running down the original Khallas track.

Now, how would Asha Bhosle, Sandeep Chowta and Isha Koppikar react to this trashing of their number? While the filmmaker is entitled to his views, we let you decide which Khallas scores.
