The maverick filmmaker takes a dig at original Housefull creator; also pokes fun at himself for making Aag.

Ram Gopal Varma is in the mood for a confrontation. At least on Twitter. The controversial filmmaker took a jibe at fellow director Sajid Khan, who was unceremoniously sacked from the third film in the successful Housefull franchise.

The recently released Housefull 3 set a record for the highest opening weekend of 2016 by nettting Rs 52 crore.

Housefull 3 is directed by the duo of Sajid-Farhad, who had penned Housefull 2 and also RGV’s 2007 disaster Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag.

Varma did not hesitate in taking a swipe at the orginal creator of the Housefull franchise Sajid Khan.

Usually, Sajid Khan isn't one to take such comments lying down, but he appears to have chosen not to react to this jibe from Ram Gopal Varma, also known as RGC. While Varma praised Sajid-Farhad, he also posted some sarcastic tweets poking fun at himself.

Sajid Farad told me how wrong I was going in the making of Aag and I dint listen to them and the result is there for everyone to see

It’s hard to understand what really goes in RGV’s mind, but we wonder whether the filmmaker regrets making his latest release Veerappan. Or maybe writer RD Tailang did not caution the filmmaker?
