The Gangs Of Wasseypur actor reacts to the scary trailers of his upcoming film.

The trailers of Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film, Raman Raghav 2.0, have left a lasting impression on audiences. This is largely because of its lead actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s scary act as a serial psychotic killer. But along with the audience, the actor’s wife too was scared by her husband’s creepy avatar in the film.
During a media interaction, when it was mentioned that his act was frightening people, Siddiqui revealed, “Actually the first person to get scared of my act was my wife [laughs]. Plus, when I was sick and admitted to hospital recently, I was mumbling something, which also frightened her.”
The Kick (2014) actor went down memory lane when he was asked whether he ever expected to visit Cannes for the film festival in the days when he was doing unnoticed cameos in films like Shool (1999) and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003). “I didn’t even know whether I will get any work. Thankfully, I kept getting films and it feels good to be at this level. There is still a long way to go,” he said.
The event was the launch of the song ‘Qatl-e-aam’ from Raman Raghav 2.0. The audio and the visuals have the Anurag Kashyap stamp all over. Composer Ram Sampath, who was also present at the event, shared the filmmaker’s liking for the dark side in choosing the final version: “From the three versions, Anurag, as expected, chose the extreme one [laughs]. He was satisfied with the ghazal-meets-hard-trance version.”
