He was ousted unceremoniously from the third installment of film, but it looks like director Sajid Khan is not holding any grudges against producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Housefull 3 crew.
Housefull 3 has released worldwide today. Last evening, Sajid Khan took to twitter to express his best wishes to the team.
Goodluck boys!Sajid nadiadwala,@akshaykumar @Riteishd @juniorbachchan and farhad shamsi,sajid shamsi(the directors)hoping hf3 is a huge hitðÂÂÂ

Interestingly, apart from Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh, Khan also tagged Akshay Kumar in his tweet. It must be recalled that Akshay Kumar had a fall out with the Khan siblings and Shirish Kunder after he was upset about the way his film Joker turned out. Kumar had even refused to promote Joker. Back then, it was rumoured that Kumar was unhappy with the film and had vowed never to work with Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder again. Rumour had it that Joker’s disaster also forced Kumar to rethink working with Sajid Khan as the director for Housefull 3.
While it’s merely speculation over whether Kumar might ruined the party for Sajid Khan, producer Nadiadwala had cited the poor performances of Khan’s other films Humshakal and Himmatwala as the reason for not retaining Khan for Housefull 3. Khan was replaced by the writer duo of Sajid-Farhad. Interestingly, Khan had suffered a further blow when he separated from his girlfriend Jacqueline Fernandez, who returned for the third film.
Khan is the creator of the Housefull franchise, having helmed the first two films. It must be recalled that Khan’s directorial debut Heyy Baby featured Kumar in the lead. In fact, at one point of time, Khan used to say that he’d never imagine making a film without Kumar. However, nothing is constant in this industry.
