Salman Khan summoned to clarify his ‘rape’ comment in front of Women Commission today

It seems Salman Khan’s controversy over his ‘rape’ remark isn’t going to die any time soon. The actor was ordered a week ago by the Maharashtra State Commission for Women (MSCW) to offer clarifications over his comments. 

As he has failed to do so, the actor has been asked to appear in front of the commission today in Mumbai to present his side of the story. In case he isn’t available, his lawyer must appear on his behalf. According to latest reports, the commission has stated that in case either of the two fail to turn up, they would assume that the actor has nothing to say on the matter, which will compel them to go ahead with one-sided proceedings. 

Salman had made the controversial comment during a media interaction for his upcoming film, Sultan. The actor had said that he felt like a ‘raped woman’ after filming those rigorous wrestling scenes. 

Soon after, the actor’s father, Salim Khan, offered an apology on his behalf. But the Dabangg actor is yet to speak on the matter.
