This might just be the biggest news of the day from the world of Hindi cinema! Tusshar Kapoor has formally announced the arrival of his son. The baby, born last week through IVF and surrogacy, has been named Laksshya. The child is in excellent health, said the actor. The news comes right out of the blue for fans and media.
The Golmaal Unlimited actor announced this surprise saying, "I am thrilled to be a father! The paternal instincts have been overpowering my heart and mind for some time now. Therefore, I am thrilled beyond words to have Laksshya, now the greatest source of joy in my life."
The actor also thanked the medical team at Jaslok hospital for their help, saying, "By the greatness of god and the excellent medical team at Jaslok, parenthood is an option for many who choose to be single parents."
The actor's family was just as ecstatic at this news. Shobha Kapoor and Jeetendra said, "We could not be more excited to be grandparents to Laksshya, and are completely supportive of Tusshar's decision. This is certainly a tremendous blessing, and an exciting time in our lives. Tusshar is a wonderful son, and he will be a great father to Laksshya."
Dr. Firuza Parekh, director of IVF and genetics at Jaslok, was convinced about Tusshar Kapoor's credentials to be a good parent. She said, "I am impressed with Tusshar's dedication to be a father. He maintained a keen interest in the baby's health at every stage. He will surely be a sensitive and nurturing parent."
