The first trailer of upcoming Hollywood flick Inferno has been released. As the film is based on the book of the same name by Dan Brown, the author behind the hugely popular The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, there are high expectations from it.

There is more anticipation for the film in India since it stars celebrated actor Irrfan Khan alongside Tom Hanks and Felicity Jones. But, unfortunately, Khan has a blink-and-you-miss-it appearance in the trailer. This is sure to disappoint viewers in India and reminds one of Anil Kapoor’s minuscule part in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011).

Khan plays Harry Sims, who is head of The Consortium. He helps Ben Foster’s character in his mission to solve the problem of overpopulation in the world. Going by this description, it does seem that his character has some prominence. At least this is what fans back home would be hoping for.

As far as the trailer is concerned, it increases your excitement for the film. It’s a thrilling ride that makes you eagerly await the month of October as that’s when the film releases.
