The motion poster of Happy Bhag Jayegi shows off its runaway bride

After the grand success of Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015), Eros International and Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow are teaming up again to present the story of another would-be bride.

Writer-director Mudassar Aziz’s second film after Dulha Mil Gaya (2010) stars Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal, Diana Penty, Momal Sheikh and Jimmy Shergill. The recently released motion poster of the crazy comedy shows a yet-unknown Punjabi bride lacing up her trainers as she walks out of the frame.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen both Abhay Deol and Diana Penty on the big screen. The romantic comedy is the first time the two will be working together. Happy Bhag Jayegi also introduces Pakistani actor Momal Sheikh to Indian audiences. The film will release in theaters on 19 August 2016.
