Priyanka Chopra was recently voted the 'hottest woman in the world' by Maxim and featured on the cover of the magazine. Totally living up to her title, she looked stunning in a black sheer skirt and monokini. While nobody had a doubt that the Quantico star looked gorgeous, her airbrushed armpits came in for a lot of flak. The magazine had smoothened out the star's armpits too much.
People on social media slammed the magazine for setting unrealistic standards for women with this act. National and international media began discussing Chopra's armpits (Yes, PC's armpits are as famous as her, deal with it!) Some international websites also called the controversy 'armpitgate' or 'pitgate'!
The debate was hotting up when Chopra decided to come up with a hilarious and befitting response to end it all.
The actor, who is currently in Paris for the French premiere of Quantico, took to Twitter to post a "real" picture of her armpits. 'Here is another "pit-stopping" picture to add to the debate. #WillTheRealArmpitPleaseStandUp #nofilter #armpitdiaries,' she captioned the photo, while showing off her non-airbrushed armpits.

Surely, Priyanka Chopra's unaltered armpits are just as flawless.
The actress received applause for taking the issue head on and coming up with an epic response, which then made Twitter go abuzz with #WillTheRealArmpitPleaseStandUp yesterday. Great to see the talented star display her sense of humour to put an end to the debate.
Dear magazines, take a cue from Priyanka!
