Contrary to various theories floating around that Aamir Khan may shift the release of his upcoming film Dangal in the wake of Salman Khan's Sultan stealing the thunder on Eid later this month, the actor today served a reminder of his prowess by revealing a stunning image of his character.

The black-and-white still sees Aamir Khan as the young Mahavir Singh Phogat. A mere look at the still suggests how Khan has beefed up for the role.

Aamir Khan tweeted this picture saying he is now looking forward to playing the younger Mahavir Singh Phogat. The shoot is set to commence in two days.

Dangal is primarily a film of a father's struggle to help his daughter follow in his footsteps  A method actor to the core, Khan always strives for perfection in his roles. The massive bulky frame, huge biceps, beard and mean look suggest that he means business this time as well. It would be hard for one not to be initimidated by Khan's beefy look.

It did not take long for this still to trend on Twitter with most fans and netizens marvelling at Khan's look.

Dangal is slated to release on 23 December 2016.
