Actor Razak Khan, known for his comic turn in villainous and character roles in films and television, died of a heart attack in Mumbai today.
The actor was rushed to the Holy Family Hospital in Bandra, but doctors could not revive him. His son Asad Khan is set to arrive from Croatia today. The funeral will be held at Narialwadi Kabaristan, Byculla, after 4 pm tomorrow.
Razak Khan started his career in 1993 with the Anil Kapoor-Sridevi starrer Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. He acted in more than 180 films in a career spanning two decades. His popular films included Mohra (1994), China Gate (1998), Anari No.1 (1999), Baadshah (1999), in which he played the character Manikchand, and Hello Brother (1999), in which he played Ninja Chacha.
Khan was last seen in the sex comedy Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 (2016).
Razak Khan had returned to television last year with a special appearance on the popular show Comedy Nights With Kapil.
