The festival of Eid is here. Just like the general public, our Hindi film celebrities have also involved themselves in the festivities. Among them is superstar Aamir Khan, who had a friendly media interaction some moments back at his mother's residence where the Khan family celebrates Eid every year.
With Sultan released just a day ago, the discussion obviously touched upon the film. But in the course of the discussion, Aamir was also asked as to how much Eidi he gave to his youngest son, Azad Rao Khan. Much to everyone’s surprise, the Dangal actor revealed that he gives a minuscule amount to his son. “I give Rs2 as Eidi to Azad.” He said, “While growing up, we were largely interested in collecting Eidi, but now I have to give.”
Actor Imran Khan, Aamir’s nephew, had once said that his mamu is kanjoos when it comes to giving Eidi. Aamir was asked whether this has changed. To this, he laughed and said, “Never believe what Imran says. He is known for cracking jokes.”
The actor’s next big release, Dangal is set to release on 9 December 2016. The first look of the movie was recently unveiled.
