Kamaal R Khan apologises to Vikram Bhatt; then alleges death threat from producer

Controversial actor and critic, KRK, calls truce with filmmaker, but then alleges death threat from producer Manish Mundra; also takes a pot shot at socialite-writer Shobhaa De

The unthinkable has happened. Kamaal Rashid Khan has said the two magic words, ‘I’m sorry’. Oh, it’s true.

Fearing action in the defamation suit filed against him by filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, the enfant terrible of Indian cinema, more so Twitter, has tendered an unconditional apology to the filmmaker. Khan had made a sensational claim that Bhatt tried to sell actor Meera Chopra to a producer.

If that came as a surprise, you’ll be shocked to know that Khan even chose to apologise to all film artistes who he offended in the past with his review and tweets. The Deshdrohi actor has now vowed to be a good critic.

Khan’s apology was welcome by Bhatt, who even called him a talented critic.

While the war with Bhatt may be over, Khan was back to usual antics, i.e riling ‘Bollywood’ people. In a sensational claim, the actor alleged receiving death threats from producer Manish Mundra.

In his complaint, KRK has alleged that Mundra threatened to get him killed by his friends from the underworld. The alleged threat was made through social media. However, we didn’t find any controversial tweet from Mundra. So, if true, then the threat must have been issued via a direct message.

Further backing his charge, Khan tweeted the following

All efforts to reach Mundra turned futile.

Meanwhile, having promised not to irk actors, Khan chose a new target, taking a dig at socialite-writer Shobha De.

The actor put up a poll asking who is the bigger nautanki?

We’re not sure how many people voted, but the results were not flattering for De.

Based on his poll, Khan concluded that De was the Rakhi Sawant of journalism. Well, all we can say is that old habits die hard.
